The measurement of the droplet size distribution in the research work of the plant protection machinery is a tremendously laborious task and the accurate resu lt is not so easily acquired by means of the customary method. The working principle and operating condition of the laser type droplet size distribution analyser are described briefly in this article. The measuring technique is based on the Fraunhofer diffraction of the parallel beam of the mono-chromatic light by the moving droplets. The Fourier transform lens is used to focus the diffracted light onto the multielement photoelectric detector to measure the light energy distribution. The minicomputer is employed to translate the light energy distribution into the corresponding droplet size distribution. The range of the droplet dimension which may be metered by the present analyser is 1-1800 micron. The accuracy of the technology is verified to be about4% error in the mean diameter of the droplets. It is noteworthy that the method is non-intrusive and extremely rapid to carry out. The effect of multiple scattering has been shown to be minimal up to 50% obscuration of the incident light for a selection of different liquids and droplet size ranges. The instrument may be used not only for measuring the droplet size distribution in the air stream, but also for metering the solid granule size distribution in the air current. In addition, the apparatus may be employed for gauging the solid or liquid particle size distribution in the liquid flow with certain modification of the apparatus. The instrument is therefore provided with numerous uses in other scientific research fields likewise.

植保机械科学研究中,雾滴尺寸分布的测定工作,非常繁重,而且不易测得准确。本文简述了激光式雾滴尺寸分布测定仪的工作原理和应用条件。这种仪器是利用平行单色光束照射运动着的雾滴而产生夫琅和费衍射,通过傅里叶透镜将衍射光束会聚在多元光电探测器上,来测定其衍射光能分布,再通过小型计算机,将光能分布翻译成为相应的雾滴尺寸分布。目前仪器所能测定的雾滴尺寸范围为1—1800微米,所测得的雾滴平均直径的误差约为4%。此法的显著特点是测定非常迅速,并不干扰雾流。至于适用的液体种类,雾滴数量和尺寸范围的问题,只要不使入射光的衰减分率达到50%以上,其多次散射的影响是极小的。此项仪器不但可以用来测定气流中的液体雾滴,亦可用于测定气流中的固体微粒,仪器稍加改装,还可测定液流中的固态或液态质点的尺寸分布。因此,这种仪器在其他科研领域亦有多种用途。

本文介绍用电子计算机及光电-光纤测温元件进行热场多点微时差密集测温的方法。对于小型铸件或类似的快速变化的热场测温,由于空间、时间的约束,要求各测温点之间采样时差尽量小,同点采样间隔短、读数分辨率高。传统的以热电偶为一次仪表,以电子电位差计或光线示波记录仪为二次仪表的测温系统不能满足上述要求。本文通过模拟与实测提出了光电-光纤测温与电子计算机相结合的热场多点测温系统,为多点、微时差、密集热场测温提供了新的方法。
