Because of continuous developing of the complexity of computer architecture and computer applications, the performance evaluation for computer systems is rapidly developed, and it becomes one of the important reseach domains of computer science. It seems to us that the main objective to study system performance evaluation is to enable us to design computer systems more efficiently, and to enhance cost-effective and to facilitate various applications. This paper summarizes developments of system performance evaluation, then describes in detail three major methods for evaluation: analysis, simulation and measurement as well as their applications by way of examples. Some kinds of view points are presented by the authors of this paper.

随着计算机系统结构的复杂性和计算机应用的复杂性的不断发展,计算机系统性能评价也迅速发展起来,并形成了计算机科学的一个重要研究领域。研究系统性能评价的根本目的就是为了研究如何更好地设计、配置和改善计算机系统,提高其成本效率,以利于各种各样的应用。本文首先综述了系统性能评价的发展,然后分别详细描述了性能评价的三个主要方法:分析、摸拟和测量,举例说明了它们的应用,並提出了我们的一些看法。

Several figures of electrical circuits drawn by a single-board computer show that such figures can be readily drawn with high speed and quality. This method of drawing can be widely used for the printing of technical science books and magazines, for single-board computer is comparatively less expansive.

本文选载了若干用单板机绘制的电路图,说明应用单扳机绘制科技书刊插图速度快、质量高、效果好。由于单板机价格低,所以易于推广,适用于书刊出版单位使用。
