This axticle reviewed the physiological functions, natural sources of γ Linolenic acid(GLA), Arachidonic acid(Ara) and Eicosapentaenic acid (EPA) and researching advance on their production by fungi.
The high performance of common engineering thermoplastics as ABS, PA, PC, POM, PPO, polyesters and so on, the practicality of special engineering plastics as PEK, PPS, PTFE, polyseter amide, and so on as well as the researching advance in the engineering of common plastics as PE, PP, PVC, PS, TPE and so on are introduced in accordance with the literature issused publicly at home in 2003. And the developing trend of the engineering thermoplastics is prospected.
