After analyzing the effects of flow distribution, mass and heat transfer on the repeatability of the results obtained from the testing trickle bed hydro-ogenation reactor and comparing the configuration of our 100ml reactors with foreign ones, as well as the method of catalyst loading, it is evident that our reactors are lower in both L_B/dp and liguid mass transfer speed, as compared with foreign ones. After analyzing the effects of flow distribution, mass and heat transfer on the repeatability of the results obtained from the testing trickle bed hydro-ogenation reactor and comparing the configuration of our 100ml reactors with foreign ones, as well as the method of catalyst loading, it is evident that our reactors are lower in both L_B/dp and liguid mass transfer speed, as compared with foreign ones. It is advisable to increase the catalyst loading in the 100ml reactors or to design new reator with relatively small diameter. By mixing the catalyst with inert particles, it is also possible to increase L_B/dp or to elimi-nate the effect of temperature gradient, thus improving the repeatability of the results.
