The inducement property of the NR activity in PM could be confirmed through culturing the meterial with or without nitrate component. The inducement property of the NR activity in PM could be confirmed through culturing the meterial with or without nitrate component. Analysis from experimentation with external electron donor indicated that the maize root NR in PM could utilize not only NADH but also NADPH directly or indirectly as its electron donor. Treatment with Triton X 100 combining with trypsin and inhibitor demonstrated that NR protein was a trans PM protein mainly facing the apoplastic side, being specially sensitive to trypsin. The possible function of the NR in PM is also discussed.

Copolymers of propylene and 4 phenyl 1 butene were prepared using heterogeneous Ziegler Natta catalysts.The effects of reaction time,Al/Ti ratio,reaction temperature,monomer concentration and external donor on the copolymerization were investigated.Optimal reaction conditions were obtained at t=40min,Al/Ti=50 100,T=45 50℃.The “comonomer effect” was observed in this system.External electron donor was found to increase the tacticity of copolymer but decrease the catalytic efficiency.The obtained copolymers were extracted with solvents.The butanone soluble part was atactic copolymer and butanone insoluble part was tactic copolymer.The microstructures of the copolymers were characterized with 13 C NMR It was found that only single 4 phenyl 1 butene unit was present in the polymer chain.

The effects of the amount of DIBDMP added,Al/Ti and temperature on the polymerization were investigated.The activity and isatactic index tend to be a constant when added DIBDMP is large enough.The dependence of polymerization rate on the concentration of AlEt 3 can be explained by Langmuir Hinshelwood competing adsorption model.Compared with conventional supported catalysts,the effect of Al/Ti on this catalysts is much less,which indicates that DIBDMP is difficult to be removed by AlEt 3.In slurry polymerization at atmospheric pressure,the polymerization obeys Arrehnius equation in the range of 30~50℃.
