The main methods of interventional treatments for primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC) included transcathter arterial chemoembolization (TAE) and ablation therapy under image guidance.
Results The 0.5,1,2 and 3 year survival rates of total number of cases were 57.1%, 29.6%, 14.3% and 6.1%, respectively. The survival rates of interventional and non interventional treatments were 75.6%,55.6%,28.9%,13.3% and 41.%, 7.5%, 1.9%, 0%, respectively.
Repeated interventional treatments were done in cases of restenosis of the shunts. Results There were 0,2,10,5,0 cases of recurrent bleeding after 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 year and 3—6 year following TIPSS respectively.
Methods: Summarize and analyse angiographic appearances and therapeutic efficacy of TAC alone or TACE in 67 patients with hepatic metastases in our hospital from 1989 to 1997,which received at least 2 times of interventional treatments.
Once it is possible to develop reliable mechanical models of these soft tissues, a better understanding of several cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis, and interventional treatments, such as balloon angioplasty, might be possible.

Before any interventional treatments such as decompression-trepanation or hyperventilation are instituted, measurement of ICP should be considered, especially in children.
Objective The endoscopic stigmas of non pulsatile bleeding from peptic ulcer were studied , the efficacy and outcome following interventional treatments compared. Methods 143 patients with bleeding foci were enrolled and categorized with reference to Forrest classification into Ib, Ib+II a and Ib+II b groups. Each had endoscopic hemostatic spray ± injection therapy. The failures underwent surgery. Results Immediate stop of bleeding was achieved with injection in all cases , while that with ...
ObjectiveTo improve therapeutic efficacy of transcatheter hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy alone or chemoembolization in treatment of hepatic metas-tases. Methods: Summarize and analyse angiographic appearances and therapeutic efficacy of TAC alone or TACE in 67 patients with hepatic metastases in our hospital from 1989 to 1997,which received at least 2 times of interventional treatments. All together 230 times. Results :The group included'single-focus metastasis 3 cases,multiple-foci 61 c...
Objective To evaluate the prognostic factors in patients with moderately advanced and advanced primary liver cancer. Methods According to ones own will, different treatments were performed in 98 cases of inoperable primary liver cancer including interventional or non interventional treatment. Using Kaplan Meier survival curve to describe the survival rates, an univariate and a multivariate analysis of 31 possible factors influencing survival of these patients were carried out. The predi...
