In 1973 the Institute of Chemical Metallurgy was engaged to carry out research on fluidizcd roasting of titaniferous iron ore containing vanadium, with the special objective of utilizing the local resources of natural gas and hydraulic electric power, by reduction of the ore with a hydrogen-rich gas followed by melting of the reduced cinder in an electric furnace in order to separate the iron from a slag rich in vanadium and titanium. Various phascs of fluidized roasting have been investigated, including basic data on gaseous reduction and their analysis, as well as engineering studies on candidate fluid-bed reducers,viz., a pneumatically controlled multi-layer reactor and a fast-fluidized roaster. Defluidization during reduction, iron-slag separation and extraction of vanadium and titanium, are a few examples of the subsidiary programs of the project. The present paper is a brief summary of five years' efforts culminating in some 58 internal reports, the exact contents of which are however not to be citated hereunder.

Studies on macroinvertebrate benthos from upper and middle reaches of Tumen River were carried out between August 1977 and August 1979. The sampler of artificial substrate was mainly used for the 9 sampling stations set in this river. The communities of benthic macroinvertebrates are found abundant in many species, especially so in the upper reaches. The main ones are plecopterans, ephemeropterans, trichopterans, chironomids and aquatic oligochaetes. The data which have been collected for the last three...

Studies on macroinvertebrate benthos from upper and middle reaches of Tumen River were carried out between August 1977 and August 1979. The sampler of artificial substrate was mainly used for the 9 sampling stations set in this river. The communities of benthic macroinvertebrates are found abundant in many species, especially so in the upper reaches. The main ones are plecopterans, ephemeropterans, trichopterans, chironomids and aquatic oligochaetes. The data which have been collected for the last three years are used for biological evaluation of the river itself, and to calculate Trent biotic index, Chandler score system and Shannon diversity index. Water in upper reaches can be said clean or moderately polluted, and that in the middle reaches from Caidui station to Tumen station is heavily polluted. Water quality downward from station Hedong recovers to the extent of being lightly polluted.

作者于1977年8月至1979年8月在图们江上中游的9个采样点上,主要使用人工基质采样器采集底栖无脊椎动物。结果证明图们江底栖动物比较丰富,出现的主要种类属于襀翅目、蜉蝣目的稚虫,毛翅目幼虫,摇蚊科幼虫和水栖寡毛类。其中崇善江段种类多,表现出明显的多样性。根据三年来所收集到的资料,计算了Trent生物指数,Chandler记分制以及Shannon多样性指数,并对图们江的污染状况作出生物学评价,上游地段属于清洁水到中污染;中游地段在污染源以下至图们站属于重污染;自河东站开始,水质又明显好转,属于轻污染。

The smoke and gases emitted from a lead smelting plant contain a large amount of sulfur dioxide,and a small amount of lead,copper,zinc,cadmium,and other pollutants,which pollute the air and greatly impair the public health.This paper describes a study on the elimination of the pollutants by removing the harmful dust with a separating process,and then,by leading the gases into an aqueous solution of ammonia to form ammonium sulfite..It was found that if the sulfite formed was used in a small paper mill...

普通炼铅厂的废气含有大量二氧化硫气体,少量金属铅、锌、铜、镉的粉尘以及其他杂质。含二氧化硫的气体逸出到空气中,既污染大气,也危害人们的身体健康。 利用分离法除去固体尘埃,然后通气体于氨的水溶液中,以制得亚硫酸铵。这种铵盐能应用于小型造纸企业制纸(铵法造纸),于是,造纸废水可用于农业生产,从而解决了碱法造纸的污染问题。这项研究可使金属冶炼和造纸厂的污染一起获得解决。
