Objeclive:To establish a two dimensional finite element analysis model for hard tissue morphology on lateral cephalometric X ray film.Methods:Based on the principle of finite element method,the landmarks on lateral cephalometric X ray film were selected as nodes,by which the hard tissue was divided into small elements according to anatomic structures and their relationship.Results:A relatively complete two dimensional finite element analysis model for hard tissue morphology of lateral cephalometric X ray...

Objeclive:To establish a two dimensional finite element analysis model for hard tissue morphology on lateral cephalometric X ray film.Methods:Based on the principle of finite element method,the landmarks on lateral cephalometric X ray film were selected as nodes,by which the hard tissue was divided into small elements according to anatomic structures and their relationship.Results:A relatively complete two dimensional finite element analysis model for hard tissue morphology of lateral cephalometric X ray film was established,on which 53 landmarks were selected as nodes and the craniofacial hard tissue on middle sagittal plane was divided into 37 triangle elements.Conclusions:This model may be applied for the study of morphologic characteristics and changes induced by growth,orthodontic treatment and orthognathic operation on middle sagittal plane.

目的:建立X线头颅侧位定位片硬组织形态二维有限元分析模型。方法:基于有限元分析的原理,选择头颅侧位定位片硬组织标志点作为节点,按照解剖结构及结构间关系对硬组织进行单元划分。结果:选择头颅侧位定位片硬组织标志点53个作为节点,将正中矢状面颅颌面硬组织划分成37个三角形单元,建立了一个较为全面的头颅侧位定位片硬组织形态二维有限元分析模型。结论:该模型可用于颅颌面硬组织在正中矢状面上的形态特征及因生长、正畸矫治、正颌手术引起的形态变化研究。
