The density,Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of TiN-SiC composite ceramics are 4.41g/cm3,13.6 GPa and 6.89 MPa·m1/2, respectively. The crack deflection and crack branching are major mechanisms for increasing the fracture toughness in the composite ceramics.
tensile strength, flexural strength and Izod notched impact strength of PA6/SANMAH/GF composite decoreased markedly at PA6/SANMAH weight ratio 100∶40.
