酸雨是指pH值小于5.6的自然降水的总称。其中包括云、雾、露、霜、雪等湿沉降和其他干沉降。毒雾是指雾中含有毒化合物。酸雨与毒雾对花朵内外蜜腺均有损害。蜜蜂吸取酸雨与毒雾后,发生颤慄,失去飞翔能力,直至死亡。笔者从1980年至1990年10年中用中蜂和意蜂在9种蜜源、81个场地中的酸雨与毒雾对蜜源与蜜蜂危害情况作了系统的观测。酸雨的pH值在3以下时,泌蜜停止,蜂群惨死,酸雨的pH值在3至4.2时,泌蜜量下降60.2%,蜂群死亡也多;酸雨的pH值在4.2至5.2时,泌蜜量下降40.5%,蜜蜂也出现爬行。采用的防治方法是:可用自制的“抗酸雨灵一号”喂蜂,有效率达98.6%。

本研究根据多箱体养蜂的原理,结合我国一般蜂场既生产蜂蜜又生产蜂王浆的具体特点,设计常年用两个箱体供蜂群生活、育儿和贮存饲料,流蜜期再加箱体专供蜂群贮放蜂蜜。结果表明,用两个育虫箱养蜂,比用一个育虫箱容易培养和保持强群;流蜜期用加贮蜜继箱的方法代替勤取蜜,不仅减少了取蜜次数,而且能提高蜂蜜的浓度和产量,同时蜂王浆生产照常进行,产浆量不受影响。

从产浆框上哺育蜂的分布、蜂王浆产量、幼虫接受率等方面研究产浆框两侧不同巢脾的排列对产浆的影响,试验证明:在蜜粉源比较丰富、群势较强的条件下生产蜂王浆,产浆框两侧排列任何巢脾,对产浆框上哺育蜂的分布和幼虫接受率都基本无影响;产浆框两侧分别排列大幼虫脾、封盖子脾、蜜脾,粉脾、空脾,产浆量差异不显著(P>0.05);浆框两侧分别排列3种子脾,产浆量差异不显著(P>O.05),因此。在产浆过程中不必调整产浆框两侧巢脾,这对指导蜂王浆生产中产浆群的管理,以及人工育王都具有很大的意义。
