In this paper, a new type of directional relay based on the principle of the variation of power frequency components is proposed.In case of power system fault, the phases of power frequency components between voltage and current variation are compared in this relay .On the one hand, on account of the utilization of the variation of the faulty components, it has some features similar to travelling wave protection. On the other hand, the utilization of power frequency components makes it possible to employ the measures used in ordinary relays (e.g.using impedance simulation method to eliminate nonperiodic component, using impedance compensation method to improve its voltage sensitivity, using phase comparison through integration for improving its immunity to interference, etc.) .The operating principle is simple and easy for the users .Therefore, it has the advantages of simple structure, quick response, high reliability and wide adaptability.

本文从原理上开发了一种能反应输电线路故障后所产生的正序变化量的新型方向元件。并按此原理编制了软件,仿真微机保护的动作情况,在PRIME-550机上进行了各种全相及非全相运行状态下发生故障的试验。试验结果表明,由本文所述原理构成的方向元件在各种状态下都能正确地判断故障方向,并具有原理简单、方向明确、动作快、灵敏度高等优点。

This article introduces and analyses characteristic of a transistor power directional relay, which uses suitable angle and connecting mode when testing transformer works in series, parallel or three phases. The relay can rapidly and sensitively switch off source of testing transformer and then limit effectively recovery over-voltage.

本文介绍高电压试验变压器在串级、并联和三相运行方式下进行工颇电压试验时,晶体管功率方向继电器采用合适的内角和接线方式的方向保护装置动作特性,能快速、灵敏地切除高电压试验变压器的电源,有效地限制恢复过电压的产生。
