IN this research work epoxy resin was used to encapsulate the ceramic core of high permittivity and high voltage capacitor in order to ensure the performance. The main problem occurred in the work is that the interfaces between ceramic core and epoxy resin is easily broken down. It has been solved by improving the composition and technological conditions of casting. In order to increase the compactness of the epoxy casting vacuum treatment is used, and the parameters, such as temperature, vacuum and time of treatment are reasonably chosen. The addition of thiokol greatly improves the toughness, elasticity and coherency. Coupling agent plays an important role in increasing the voltage endurance and solving the problem of break down at interfaces between ceramic and epoxy resin. The group R in coupling agent (R-Si-X_3) combines with epoxy resin to form chemical bond, while the group X combines with the surfaces of ceramics, so it is like "seting up a bridge" between epoxy and ceramic. The experiments with three kinds of coupling agent indicates that it makes the value of endurance voltage exceed by the technical specification. Laboratory test and practical operation have shown that such encapsulated ceramic capacitor is of high quality.

The results of voltage-endurance test of LDPE and f-LDPE accord with electrical strength dependance of temperature and electrical tree length as a function of measuring time.

The influences of the variation of the amount of Bi_2O_3·2TiO_2 in the SrTiO_3一Bi_2O_3·2TiO_2 system on themicrostructure and electrical properties of the ceramics have been observed. 观察在SrTiO_3一Bi_2O_3·2TiO_2系中Bi_2O_3·2TiO_2含量对瓷体显微结构和电性能的影响。发现随BiO_3·2TiO_2含量增加,晶粒形貌由颗粒状向柱状发展。高频1MHz下损耗增加至无穷大。当Bi_2O_3·2TiO_2含量小于0.30mol晶粒呈粒状,高频损耗tgδ降至5×10 ̄4.耐交流电压达6000V/mm.产品可靠性达99.6%.获得了该系统合理配方原则和控制烧成最佳制度。
