Traditional platen motion control in flash welding is based upon the continuous advance of a predetermined rate of velocity. The instantaneous change of the contact bridges is not taken into consideration in this control method and so the method has obvious limitations in regard to the improvements in flashing performance and raising heating efficiency.This paper introduces the principle of an instantaneous control of the platen motion in flashing welding,i.e, instantaneous regulation of the platen motion in the course of making and breaking contact bridge during flashing. This control method can regulate the burn-off process of contact bridge according to requirements so that the required flashing voltage is lowered and the flashing heating efficiency raised.Moreover, by instantaneous control of the platen motion, the macro rate of velocity of the moving platen can be self adjusted to fit the change in burn-off rate of the flashing interfaces and a platen displa cement curve with similar shape as a ponential function can be automatically established.Application tests of this instantaneous control on a conventional flashing welding machine, show a stable flashing performance, yield high quality welds, and decrease the required specific power to one tenth.

The mainpoints of this paper are: (1) The elastic deformation of the bearing is treated as the two-dimen- sional problem, which is more adapted to the practical condition than what is treated as the semi-infinite body; (2) The computer capacity needed by this method is much less than that of the three-dimensinal method, and the programme can be carried out on a smallscale digital computer (such as TQ-16) with...

This paper describes the numerical method determining two-dimensional and axisymmetric flow for head-on vehicle shock-planar incident shock interaction.The complicated inviscid flow field,which contains multiple shock wave interactions,is determined by a shock-capturing finite difference approach which solves the time-dependent Euler equations.The difference scheme used in this paper is a development of the difference scheme presented in [3],which is a self-adjusting hybrid scheme with minimal dissipative coefficient and keeping the monotony of solution.The calculating results for the flow field,in which when a supersonic wedge,a supersonic hemisphrical or a supersonic conical body intercepts a planar incident shock traveling in the opposite direction at supersonic,have shown the validity of the method.In a general way,this method may be used for the solution of complicated flow field,which contains multiple discontinuties.

本文论述了入射激波与飞行器头部激波相交后的二维或轴对称干扰流场的计算方法。它是文[3]建立的具有最小耗散系数、保持解的单调性、一阶与二阶自动调节的混合格式的推广。通过对绕楔、球头和锥三种干扰流场的计算表明,本文的方法是可靠的,具有较高的精度,可用于多重间断问题的流场计算。
