This paper is devoted to an exploration of the activity preferences of China's holiday tourist market in UK.Based on a fairly large survey sample, the analyses undertaken in this paper are factor analysis and cluster analysis,from which some important conclusions are drawn. This paper shows once again that China is a destination for sightseeing and cultural exploration for westerners, rather than a destination of sport or health tourism. After exploring the demand structure by factor analysis , the paper gives a detailed description of eight segments , which is expected to be useful for decision-makers in formulating their promotion strategies and tourism product development.
