The Jujube witches′ broom disease has been regarded as adestructive disease of jujube.In areas where there was serious damage,70~80% of the jujube trees were infected or died,and so this disease has become the main problem in developing production of jujube trees.The discove- ry of the insect vector provides an effective approach for controlling the jujube witches′ broom disease. The host range of Chinese pseudorhombic marked leafhopper Hishimo- noides Chinensis Anufriev is very narrow.Besides the known hosts Zy- zus jujube Mill.and Z.spinosus Hu,the investigation to ten suspicious herbs and xylophytas showed that H.chinensis can also complete its life history on the elm(Ulmus pumila L.). H.chinensis can reproduce on the jujube tree throughout its life. The amount occuring on diseased trees is higher than on healthy ones. This leafhopper overwinters on Z.jujuba and Z.spinous with egg stage. There are four generations a year,but the fourth one is partial. Based on inoculation tests in cages for the disease-transmission ability of the first,second and third brood adults slready carried out,it has been found that only the adults of the first generation fed on diseased trees for at least 7 days can transmit disease.Hence,effective chemi- cal control of the first generation is a key link for controlling this disease. Laboratory experiments proved that 45~50% parathion methyl,50% phenthoate ethyl or 50% fenitrothion(all 1000×)can kill the leafhoppe- reggs,all with a mortality higher than 95%.The results of field cage tests on jujube seedlings showed also that the above insecticides diluted with 1500 times of water can kill around 95% of the adults.The writers suggest that by the proper use of chemical control in spring to suppress the first generation leafhoppers integrated with the eradication of heavily diseased trees has a great prospect in the control of jujube witches′ broom disease.

本文报道了中华拟菱纹叶蝉形态特征、生物学特性、传病规律、天敌及防治试验等研究结果。寄主植物除枣树及酸枣树外,尚有榆树。枣疯树上远比健树上为多。一年发生四代,但第四代只局部发生。以卵越冬。冬卵孵化及产生的若、成虫整齐而集中。在成虫接种试验中,只第一代饲病7天者传病。已初步发现六种捕食性天敌。试验证实,甲基1605、乙基稻丰散、杀螟松及敌敌畏等对卵及成虫有明显的杀灭效果。

The research was carried out in Xiaogan,Hubei Province.The biological characteristics of green slender planthopper S.Procenus(Matsumura)were systematicall observed and the control techniques of the pest were also investigated,with artificial raising and field examining methods.The green selender planthopper is a key pest which damages fewflower wildrice Ziaunia caduciflora.In Xiaogan,the pest has four generations annually,of which the second and third do the most harm.The insect passes winter in the form of diapaused egg on the dead leaves of the crop.Adults and nymths preched on the leaves,with the taxis of aggregating and sticking to greens.They are prercing-sucking and ovipositing by their mouth parts and ovipositor.The agricutural prevention is an important measure to lessen the harm.As regards insecticides,the Yechansan(2%)powder has been proved to be the most effective.Its natural enemies can also restrain the pest to a certain degree.

本研究选择湖北孝感地区为试验基地,采用人工饲养及田间调查的方法,对长绿飞虱的生物学特性进行了较系统的观察,并在防治技术上作了初步探讨。长绿飞虱是危害茭白的重要害虫,在湖北孝感地区一年发生4代,以卵在茭白叶鞘里越冬,每年7~8月间的2、3代危害最重;成、若虫栖息于茭白叶片上,用口器刺吸汁液和产卵器产卵为害,有趋嫩绿性和群集性,卵主要产在叶背中肋组织内;农业防治是减轻危害的重要措施;药剂防治以2%叶蝉散粉杀虫效果最好;天敌对其有一定的抑制作用。
