The musk DDHI was prepared by the cyclialkylation with 2, 6-diisopropyl-phenol and isoprene. In this paper, main factors which effect on the reaction were discussed in more detail.Consequently, the optimun technological conditions for the reaction have been found. The results show that using complex acid catalyst the catalytic effect is good. Moreover, highly refined product has been prepared by the recrystallization with mixed solvent.
