Based on the parameter signal transfer relations between LRE components and parts, the LRE simulation model can be set up by connecting the corresponding LRE component input and output ports.
By assuming a perfect mixing, the mathematical model for gas exchange in two-stroke diesel engines under constant pressure supercharging is derived with due consideration for the possible pressure pulsation in both the inlet and outlet ports.
The causes of longitudinal cracks occurring in the exhaust ports of B&W L-GFCA diesel engines are analyzed, and the preventive measures that must be taken in management are introduced, offering reference-worthy experience for running the same type of diesel engines of dealing with the same kind of troubles.
A principle of designing realizable precision interfaces between sensors and digital ports of microcontrollers and microconverters which enable one not only to measure a physical variable but also to estimate its derivative was proposed.
The sensor is inserted in a vacuum chamber; the rotating mechanism of the sensor and location of the ports in the facility enables measurements along the plasma column.
It is proposed that the compact neutron cameras be placed inside the shielding blocks located in the equatorial (nine collimators) and diverter diagnostic (seven collimators) ITER ports.
Based on the experiments of swirl producing induction ports on the "Steady flow testing rigs", the flow patterns inside and outside of the ports are studied, the velocity vectors around the inlet valve periphery are measured. The influences of constructional parameters of various sections along the port on flow characteristics are analysed. The results show that there are two distinct flows inside the swirl producing port and they could be suitably arranged. Finally, a swirl producing inlet port...
Based on the simulative theory, this paper analyses the analogous condition of scavenging process in two stroke diesel engines, and points out that dimensionlessparameters--the operation Mach numbers at inlet and outlet ports of the engine--are the main factor of determining the relative height of the ports. The size of ports determined by this method are proved simple, satisfactory and reliable in practice.
In this paper, we report on our work in carrying out wide, ranged comparison tests on a steady flow test bench for the evaluation of the swirl capability of inlet ports of a diesel engine using the rotating vane anemometer method and tippelmann's momentum reaction meter method. The spatial flow field in the cylinder was measured with a fivehole probe. The correctness of the reaction momentum meter method is ascertained and the cause of errors produced by the rotating vane anemometer mothod is also ana...
