1. The alkaloid contents of Chinese gelsemium (G. elegans Benth.) have been reinvestigated. Various procedures of isolation of the alkaloids were compared and a more efficient one developed. 1. The alkaloid contents of Chinese gelsemium (G. elegans Benth.) have been reinvestigated. Various procedures of isolation of the alkaloids were compared and a more efficient one developed. The present authors isolated besides previously reported koumine,kouminidine and gelsemine two new minor alkaloids:koumicine, m. p. 232-4°and koumidine, m. p.202-4°.However, sempervirine and kounidine were not obtained.Empirical formulae C_26H_30N_2O_4 and C_19H_22N_2O are provisionally assigned to koumicine and koumidine, respectively, and spectral evidences indicate that both these alkaloids are of indole type. The unconventional formula of kouminidine, C_19H_25O_4N_2, is revised to C_20H_26N_2O_4.Preliminary considerations based on UV and IR spectra suggest that kouminidine is possibly an indolenine type alkaloid with a zwitterionic structure.2. The constitution of koumine, the main alkaloid of Kou-Wen, has been preliminarily studied on spectral as well as on chemical ground. It is proposed that, in contrast to gelsemine, koumine probably possesses a pseudoindole ring system. Although gelsemine and koumine both contain an exo-vinyl, an Nb-methyl and most likely a cyclic ether linkage, the structures of the alicyclic parts of these two alkaloids appear also different from each other.

This paper deals with the resilience of polyether-based elastomeric polyurethane fiber.In order to characterize the resilience property of the said fiber,the residual elongation,the ratio of energy of recovery to the energy of deformation in a cyclic loading experi-ment and the stress relaxation are measured independently,the results of the experimentindicate that there exists an agreeable liner-relationship among these factors.The mechanism of residual elongation after relaxation of stress has also been studied.By means of the measurement of stress-strain behavior,anisotropic swelling and sonicmodulus of the fiber,it may be concluded that residual elongation is attributed to straininduced crystallization of the soft segments,dislocation or re-orientation in the hardsegment regions and time-dependent recoverable deformation of soft blocks.Maxwell'sviscoelastic model is used to explain this mechanism.When the soft segment is assumed to be a Gaussian chain,crosslink density may beestimated by evaluation of Young's Modulus of the fiber.It is shown that chemicalcrosslinking has little effect upon its resilience behavior.This phenomenon is interpretedfrom the point of view of the supermolecular structure of polyether-based urethane blockcopolymer.In view of the fact that multiple cycling reduces the hysteresis considerably,thefiber resilience can be improved by prestretching.After stretching for three times thepermanent set is reduced to zero.

本文对聚醚型氨纶纤维的回弹行为进行了研究。采用残余伸长、弹性功损耗和应力衰减三个参数来表征纤维的回弹能力。三者之间具有满意的一致性。有关残余伸长的机理曾有人作了研究。我们通过测量纤维的应力-应变行为、各向异性溶胀度和声模量可以得出如下的结论:残余伸长是软段的应变诱导结晶、硬段的位移取向和软段的推迟高弹形变的总贡献。用 Maxwell 模型对三种机理进行了解释。假设软链段为高斯链,通过对纤维模量的测量可推算出纤维内的交联密度。实验表明,化学交联并不能改善纤维的回弹性。这一现象可以聚醚-氨基甲酸酯嵌段共聚物的超分子结构来解释。经多次形变后,滞后圈大大地缩小,也即总残余伸长经多次拉伸后可不断地下降。经多次拉伸后可改善纤维的回弹性。随拉伸次数的增加,S_取相应地趋近于零。

A new water-soluble polymeric selective chelating agent for mercury(Ⅱ)was prepared by the acid mercaptalation of the aldehyde derivative of dex-tran with ethylene glycol dithioglycolate. The product is composed of macro-cyclic mercaptal groups linked to dextran. A preliminary examination of its acute toxicity and its ability to offset-acute mercuric chloride poisoning has been made. The product is composed of macro-cyclic mercaptal groups linked to dextran. A preliminary examination of its acute toxicity and its ability to offset-acute mercuric chloride poisoning has been made. The results indicate thatthis chelating agent is relatively non-toxic and improves the survival rateof animals.It seems promising as an oral agent for the treatment of mercurypoisoning and should be able to remove mercury from the enterohepaticcirculation and increase its rate of excretion via the feces and urine.
