             This paper proposes a method for analyzing the nature of singularity at an elastic crack-tip. According to the Muskhelishvili's exact solution of an elastic elliptical hole, the variations of the stress fields of different crack-tips are determined as the tip of the elliptic-crack model changing from a blunt tip to a sharp tip.
