This study was undertaken to assess the technical feasibility of using the anaerobic fluidized bed(AFB) process to digest secondary biological sludge at four hydraulic retention times(HRT):1, 2.5, 5, and 10 days. The effects of operating temperatures(15 ,25, and 35℃) and the initial sludge solubility (soluble COD over total COD) on the overall digester performance were also examined.It was found that at 35℃ an adequate degree of sludge digestion was obtainable wtih an HRT of only 1 to 2 days if the biological sludge was pretreated with 17.5 meq/L of NaOH. If no presolubilization was used, the necessary HRT for adequate digestion would be increased to 10 days. When the temperature was reduced to 25℃, adequate sludge digestion was still achievable in 2.5 days with sludge presolubilization. However, as the temperature dropped to 15 ℃, the AFB system was not able to achieve adequate digestion within 10 days even with presolubilization of its influent sludge. It was also observed that the AFB system was able to accept an abrupt increase of sludge loading without showing a buildup of exces sive organic acids. Thus, it is less susceptible to shock loading upsets than the conventional suspended-growth digesters.

本文报道应用两段系统和上流式污泥床与过滤层结合型反应器的厌氧消化工艺处理甘蔗糖蜜酵母废水的研究方法及其获得的良好结果。当反应温度为35℃,反应器容积负荷为12gCOD/1·d时,进水COD_(cr)浓度为10,000mg/l,pH值为4.5,水力停留时间为0.83天,出水COD_(cr)浓度为3300—2700mg/l,pH值为7.1,COD_(cr)去除率为67—73%,反应器容积产气率在31/1.d以上,甲烷含量为70%左右,每克COD的沼气产量为0.251。
