The linear ranges for the determination of copper, cobalt and nickel were 0～200 ng/mL, 0～200 ng/mL and 0～100 ng/mL, respectively. The detection limit was 2 ng/mL for copper, 2.5 ng/mL for cobalt and 1 ng/mL for nickel.
The results show that complex of Cu() was extracted by PEG phase from the water solution of pH8.5 ,the maxmum absorption of the complex is at 560nm and the molar absorptivity 3.05104Lmol-1cm-1.The proposed method was been applied to the determination of copper in aluminium alloy with satisfactory result.
In the presence of cationic surfactant CTMAB,the complex shows an absorption maximum at 596 nm with an apparent molar absorptivity of 6.24×104 L·mol-1·cm-1 in the buffer solution with pH8.3.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0~ 20μg/25 mL. This method has been directly used for the determination of copper in aluminium alloy with satisfactory results.
on the oxidation of methyl blue by hydrogen peroxide in the medium of 0.1 mol/L H_2SO_4.The optimum conditions of the decoloring reaction were studied. The maximum absorption wavelength of this system is located at 560 nm. The linear range for the determination of copper is 0-0.08 mg/L,and the detection limit is 1.37×10~(-7) g/L.
The optimum conditions of the determination of copper is also investigated by experiments. A good linear relationship between the 1 # peak height and the concentration of copper in the range of 4.0×10 -8 mol·L -1 to 1.6×10 -6 mol·L -1 is obtained.
