Formation drillability obtained from drilling core samples is used to predict drilling rate. Statistical analysis has been made to find out constants in the nomogram used. The formation drillability grade Kd can be put into the mathematical model for predicting drilling rate by relating it to the constants found in statistical calculation. The accuracy of prediction depends upon the extent that the formation drillability grade can be served as a representative estimate of the formation.

Application of the DCG to the estimation of the total amount of bits required is discussed, as well as for other purposes. The drillability test apparatus used has been proved simple and reliable.

本文根据石油钻井中所遇到的地层岩样所做可钻性测定。以平均钻时(秒)DT为钻时样本,取DT以2为底的对数为可钻性等级(DCG)。按统计分析表明它服从正态分布,样品平均值x=5.4438,均方差Sx=1.7498,油田地层按可钻性等级共分十级,每级地层所占比例的百分数可以分布函数求出。本文讨论了DCG用于估算所需钻头用量的问题及其它有关问题。

In this paper,after analyzing operating characteristics for drilling pumps of mechanical drive and with torque converters drive,the writer demonstrates that the rational matching power for drilling pumps driven through torque converters should be less than that for mechanical drive in same grade property,thus,derives the relation between two transmission powers.

文章通过对机械传动与变矩器传动钻井泵的工作特性的分析,论证了变矩器传动的钻井泵所配备的功率应该适当小于同级机械传动的泵功率,从而推导了两者传动功率的关系式。
