With respect to the formulae suggested in the paper,their physical concepts are clear and definite,expressive forms are comparatively concise,and calculations are,too,fairly convenient.The stiffness calculation,related with strength design,is unified for flexure and eccentrcally loaded members.By using domestic 145 reinforced concrete eccentrically laded specimens,an analysis is carried out.The calculating results for deflection,eccentrcity enlargement factor and strength are quite agreeable with test results.Examples about strength design and stiffness calculation are also given.

Large scale aerophotogrammetric mapping and electronic computation densify- ing in the same area with aerial prints of different scale by accurate aerial sur- veying instruments of different grade may provide comparative data. From this, the study of a proper mapping enlargement factor for large scale aerophotogram- metric mapping and an applying extent for electronic computation densifying could reach a rather objective and persuasive conclusion. Large scale aerophotogrammetric mapping and electronic computation densify- ing in the same area with aerial prints of different scale by accurate aerial sur- veying instruments of different grade may provide comparative data. From this, the study of a proper mapping enlargement factor for large scale aerophotogram- metric mapping and an applying extent for electronic computation densifying could reach a rather objective and persuasive conclusion. We have taken four kinds of aerial prints of 1/8000, 1/12000, 1/16000 and 1/20000 in the suburbs of Hengyang city. Besides, in the assistance of the other provincial teams concerned, we have combinatively surveyed and mapped thirty-one topographic maps of 1/2000 with three kinds of instruments of A10, B and B8s in an area of 1.6km~2. Applying three kinds of aerial prints of 1/8000, 1/12000 and 1/16000, we carried out an electronic computation densifying for an independent model area network in an area of 20km~2. Some key points in the large scale aerophotogram- metric mapping have been studied. Moreover, several single tests have been done. The Main Conclusion: both in hilly land and mountainous region, the accu-racy of mapping (including mathematical and geographical accuracy) by the instru- ments of A10 and B (enlarging 10 times to map) or the instrument of B8s (en- larging 8 times to map) fulfils the requirements of the Ministry of Geology in“TECHNICAL REGULATIONS FOR 1: 2000 AND 1: 5000 SCALE AERO- PHOTOGRAMMETRIC SURVEY”. Electronic computation densifying of the aerial print of 1/8000 may be used in mapping in hilly land, that of the aerial print of 1/12000 in mountainous region and that of the aerial print of 1/16000 in Alpine form.
