This paper reviews the essensial consideration and final decision arrived at in connection with the design and manufacture of a specimen preparation outfit for our electron spect- roscopy laboratory.The outfit was manufactured,installed and tested in 1981,to the entire satisfaction of our Electron Spectroscopy Laboratcry. The outfit consists mainly of following components: (1) The Preparation Vessel (Fig 1.3): Many functional attachments can be mounted in the preparation vessel.They comprise: a viewer,a lamp,a gas admission system,a cooling anvil,an ultra high vaccuum gauge,an ev- aporation jet,an ion gun and a quadrupole mass spectrograph,etc. (2)The Ultra High Vaccuum System(Fig4):A cold trap is coupled to the poly- phenyl ether charged diffusion pump.This standard pumping configuration give the instru- ment a guaranteed performance of 4×10~(-9)torr,a titanium sublimation pumping may be added to the preparation vessel. (3)The Precision Specimen Manipulator (Fig5);The precision specimen manipulator is thin and long (φ12×800mm),at the end of it,there is an anvil,which can be heated to 600℃ and can be fitted to the specimen preparation vessel.Three 15×4mm specimens can be positioned on the anvil,an insulated resistance heater coil installed inside the anvil.A thermocouple is used to measure the temperature at the anvil face.A power supply for PID temperature control and a liquid nitrogen circulation pump are also included. (4)The Rapid Automatic Manual Specimen Insertion System (Fig6.7):A unique in- sertion and manipulation system has been designed to enable the rapid introduction of spec- imen to the preparation and experimental vessel.When the specimen is inserted rapidly,the pressure of the preparation vessel can be returned to the 4×10~(-9) torr range within a minute. In addition the specimen can be rotated through 360℃. (5)The Electric System In conclusion,it is really a very succesful outfit performing more than ten functions for preparing and analysing specimens.It has been proved to be of great value in the study of surface science.

本文介绍了一台自行设计制造的光电子能谱仪样品预处理装置。其真空度可达4×10~(-9)托。烘烤温度可达150℃~200℃。精密细长进样杆具有PID温度自动调节系统。样品可加热到600℃,冷却到0℃以下。在保持高真空下可自动、点动快速进样。在预处理室容器上能安装氩离子枪、四极质谱计、样品蒸发喷镀、进气、速冷、观察、照明等多种附件,从而扩大了原光电子能谱仪的功能。

Infrared thermometry is an advanced non-contact method to measure exactly temperature in glassmaking, using infrared thermometer instead of thermocouple makes the production run more reasonable. As a result, the quality of the products is improved and the cost decreased.

本文简要介绍了红外测温技术在玻璃工业中的实际应用,用红外测温仪代替热电偶测温,变接触测温为非接触测温,工艺参数更趋合理,提高了产品质量,降低了成本。

Experiments of LW and SW infrared and visible radiation on human beings were made, and temperature changes of the radiated skin, hypodermis and muscle were measured with a thermocouple meter. Results show that the infrared radiation improves human body local blood circulation. Possible mechanisms of this effect have been proposed. Its application in physiotherapy promises well.

综述了用长、短波红外辐射和可见光辐射对人体进行辐照的实验情况,用热电偶温度计测定人的皮肤、皮下组织和肌肉内的温度变化,分析红外辐射对改善人体局部血液循环的可能机制。实验结果表明,红外辐射能改善人体局部血液循环,它在理疗研究中具有较高的实用价值。
