    A new wastewater filtration technique using filter made of po-rous PE tubes was researched.Empirical equations for selecting the pore diameterof PE tubes,the relationship between specific cake resistance and pressure drop,the optimum pressure drop for various metal hydroxides,and the average filtration(?)apacity were examined.The calculated results coincided well with data measuredon production scale.
