With the increase in the speed of digital signal processor(DSP),serial and parallel ports can't meet the demand of high-speed data transmission between computer and high-speed DSP. A system on the basis of TMS320C5402 and CY7C68013 is presented.
Systematic architecture, circuit design, and principles of the parallel ports trans-forming circuit capable of driving multiple peripherals are discussed .
Considering that serial and parallel ports can not meet the demand of high-speed data transmission between computer and its peripheral equipment, this paper puts forward a scheme that the USB port can be used for the data transmission, presents its driving program design in terms of the features of data transmission using EZ-USB chips, and gives an example of application program to realize its high-speed data transmission.
