Effects of temperature and light on grain yield and quality formation, characteristic of grain filling and activity of Q-enzyme in rice were studied by the experiments of the artificial climate chamber, shading treatments and different sowing dates during the grain filling period with using Xieyou 9308(indica hybrids) and xiushui 110(mid-maturity Japonica) as materials. Based on these, change rules of the comprehensive qualities with changing of temperature and sunshine conditions in rice were expatiated.
Pre- and Post- inoculation temperature and light condition of the rice host and leaf wetness period all had a significant influence on host (rice) resistant reaction, and preinoculation environment was the most importance.
The results indicated that content of N,P and K,conversion ratio of uptake N,availability of applied N,and growth rate responding to applied N for different varieties of rice varied with temperature and light conditions during the growing Period.
6. A period of light is necessary for the induction of the VDE activities. The VDE activities in leaves incubated at different temperature increased, with prolonging of incubation time under light. The maximal VDE activities were observed in leaves incubated at different temperature and light for 6h.
