So it is suggested thatmannitol-BHT should last 3 to 4 h in thedoterminnation of SBTT, so as to recognizethe pattern of breath hydrogen response.SBTT in 21 healthy subjects was 81.7±44.6min. In conclusion, mannitol-BHT iS reliableand accurate in measuring SBTT, and canbe widely used in Chine, because mannitolis abundant and much cheaper than lactulose,which is exclusively used as a test sugarabroad.

Using 40 rats with hepatopathy induced by D-galactosamine, we observed the effects of lactulose on the changes of glycometabolisra and hemorrheology which accompanied the hepatopathy. The results indicated that lactulose not only removed or lessened the D-galactosamine induced hepatopathy, but also prevented the disorders of glycometabolism, hemorrheology and blood coagulation of the D-galactosamine induced hepatopathy. 本研究通过D-氨基半乳糖所致的肝损害大鼠模型40只,观察了乳果糖对肝损害引起的糖代谢、凝血系统及血液流变学等变化的影响。实验证明:乳果糖不仅可以使肝脏免于或减轻D-氨基半乳糖所致的损害,而且能有效防止内毒素血症引起的糖代谢、凝血系统和血液流变学等变化。因此认为乳果糖是一种非常有希望的保肝、治肝药物。
