    This paper introduced a new type of constant temperature ther-mocuple vacuum gauge, overviewed the reason that Pirani vacuum gauge has been in important position for a long time, analyzed its characteristics and shortcomings and illustrated the feature of the constant temperature thermocouple vacuum gauge compared with Pirani vacuum gauge. The structure and working principles of the thermocouple gauge head were briefly described. The operation of the constant temperature adjustment and the particularity of the adjustedobject-the adjustment by insulation were illustrated. The adjustment circuit isadjusted by means of high gain proportion adjustment which is constituted by choping stable zero CMOS drive and photocupler etc. Beside, the working principles of fixed point and fixed region control circuits the measurement of scale curve and the characteristics of the instrument as well as some examples in application were also introduced.
