Two types of 300A low frequency pulse arc TIG welding machine have been developed. Two types of 300A low frequency pulse arc TIG welding machine have been developed. In this machine the pulse current is made purposely to have a peak at the leading edge, which enables successfully one side welding of small diameter tubes in position and meanwhile obtaining good reverse side weld forming. The method for improving the dynamic response of the saturable reactor is analysed and the problem of surge current at the arc initiation is solved. The electric circuits of both types of saturable reactor prove that they meet the technological requirements of low frequency pulse arc TIG welding. The pulse current generator is simple and is made with ordinary electronic devices. A simple electronic circuit is adopted for compensating the power mains fluctuation. These machines have excellent characteristics and are simple in construction, reliable in operation, easy to be repaired and light in weight. The weldable thickness for one pass welding ranges from 1-5mm in case of square butt joints and may be larger if bevel groove is applied. The developed machines are now being used in practice for welding 2-3.5mm, thick tubes in position and also the first pass of the circumferential seams of the pressure vessel made with 17mm thick stainless steel plates.

Two kinds of new electro-magnetic sensor have been studied on the basis. of several years investigation and preliminary production for years. They have high sensitivity and capability of anti-misalignment for butt joint. Other electromagnetic sensors, which can be used for corner welds, lap welds and controHing the height of are welding gun, have been designed.

在试验研究和试生产的基础上,提出了两种新型的具有高灵敏度和抗错边性能的对接接头电磁感应式传感器。此外,研制了用于角接接头和搭接接头及控制焊炬高度的电磁感应式传感器。设计了焊炬位移式和焊车前轮导向式自动跟踪系统。提出了由于点固焊缝或板边局部严重损伤使自动跟踪产生误差的克服途径。电磁感应式自动跟踪系统可用于碳钢、不锈钢、铝及其合金等金属材料;适用于交直流埋弧焊CO_2气体保护焊及惰性气体保护焊等焊接方法。

It can be used even to detect the uneven surface which was sheared, planed and manually gas cut. This transducer can be assembled into the single or double as required. The double receiver has various recepting combinations. By means of recepting signal of these combinations about 30 deviational positions of butt weld groove can be detected. Above-mentioned transducer can directly track the beveled sides, the edge of weld groove as well as the artificial tracking line (plastic tape). Aforesaid transducer has been applied in production.

本文介绍了研制的焊缝激光自动跟踪传感器的工作原理.由于采用了非接触式的直视横向焦点对准光路的测距法,因此本传感器对被检测表面的光洁度没有要求.它甚至可以检测剪切、刨削和手工气割的凸凹不平的表面.根据需要,传感器可组成单接收器或双接收器。双接收器有多种接收组合,利用这些组合的接收信号可检测对接坡口的三十多种位置偏差.传感器可直接跟踪焊接坡口的斜面或棱边,也可以跟踪人为跟踪线(塑料带).上述传感器已用于生产.
