The purport of this paper is an exposition of the chronical profundity of their criticism in the light of the history of mid-and -late Warring States period and the then prevailing negationist trend. And the rationality of this criticism is examined by regarding it as a particular link in the history of ethics.Conclusion: For the first time in the history...

And the rationality of this criticism is examined by regarding it as a particular link in the history of ethics.Conclusion: For the first time in the history of ethics, the Taoist and Legalist criticism put forth the issue of examining ethics in historic context; hence it is more direct and more realistic than Confucianism which defended traditional ethics. On the other hand, the fact that this critical theory later brought its achievement to an unjustifiable extreme also leaves us a lesson worth pondering over.

    The paper briefly traces back to the aesthetic views about the "beauty of simplicity" in ancient China, and demonstrates the art of the blue-and-white porcelain with the aesthetic characteristics of freshness, liveliness, simplicity, and elegance, and shows our consciousness of the traditional appreciation of beauty. Finally it also points out that these characteristics are mainly influenced by the classic aesthetic views by by Zhangz's "simplicity is beauty" in the aesthetic of Taoist school.

    In this paper, the historical origin and peculiarities of Chinese wushu thought are discussed from the philosophical and ethical points of view. The author maintains that the epistemological basis of Chinese wushu was ancient Taoist philosophy, as evidenced by the fact that the doctrines of Taoism, the theory of"qi"(vital energy) and the theory of the unity of man and the universe are all component parts of wushu thought. The author maintains that the epistemological basis of Chinese wushu was ancient Taoist philosophy, as evidenced by the fact that the doctrines of Taoism, the theory of"qi"(vital energy) and the theory of the unity of man and the universe are all component parts of wushu thought. The author points out that naive dialectics in classical Chinese philosophy formed the basic methological principles of Chinese wushu. Thus Lao Zi's idea on the transformation of antitheses became a strategical principle in wushu; the dialectics of yin and yang was followed in attack and defence; and the concept of unity of body and mind was pervasive in wushu exercises. The author also analyses the profound influence of Confucian humanity on Chinese wushu and points out that the concept of"humanity and justice" has become the kernal of ethical thoughts in Chinese wushu.

    本文从哲学和伦理学的角度对中华武术思想的历史渊源与表现特色作了论述。文章认为中国古代道家哲学的本体论构成了中华武术的认识论基础,这主要反映在武术思想中的道论、气论与天人合一论。文章指出中国古典哲学的朴素辩证观是中华武术方法论的基本原则,表现在老子的“反者道之动”思想成为武术的战略原理,阴阳辩证法构成了武术技击方法,以及武术思想中的形神统一观。文章还分析了儒家仁学对中华武术的深远影响,指出“仁义”观念成为中华武术伦理思想的核心。
