Furthermore, the Auther points out that when the ratio of the transfered value of the cross armature reaction and the summation magnetic drop of the air gap and armature magnetic cicuit rise to 0.8 or more, the effect of cross armature reaction must be taken into account in calculating the load excitation m. m.f., otherwise it will cause appreciable calculating error.
