he field trials were carried out for controlling Pseudoperonospora cuhensis on cucumber by propamocarb hydrochloride. The results showed that three dosages of propamocarb hydrochloride (600, 800 and 1000g A. I./ha)sprayed at begining stage of downy mildew of cucumber gave better control than phosethyl-Al did. The control effects are 69. 9~82. 3%, while the effect in demonstration at dosage of 800g propamocarb hydrochloride A.
The results show that the control effect of the fungicide for cucumber downy mildew is the same as that of 70% chlorotha lonil WP,for tomato gray mold is bette than that of 50% procymidoe WP.
