Eucalyptus chemithermomechanical pulp (CTMP) was modified with the white-rot fungus 19-6 in a stationary culture condition.
      
Different factors that influence the effect of white-rot fungus treatment, including additional nutrition, pH value, temperature, treatment time and oxygen input were investigated.

Some results of experiments on the chemical treatment, C. A. storage and railway transport of bananas have been obtained: 1. The green bananas harvested at a degree of maturity preferably not higher than 85%, must be treated directly with some kind of fungicides, to prevent rot of cutting. 2. The storage of bananas in polyethylene bags, with O_2 2-4%, CO_2 3-5% at 12℃, proved satisfactory. 3. In the long distance railway transport of bananas, the temperature of wagon should be controlled at 10-16℃.
