The influences of free surface and bottom surface on hydrodynamic coefficients of a sphere are examined, and comparison between the results of the present method and strip theory for a rectangular box are made.
In this paper,the wear loss of the cylinder liner-piston ring and box dimension of friction torque are studied through theexperiment,and then the changing rule of them is analyzed under the different lubrication condition.
Using the developed program,several box girder models,a 1/3-scale welded steel frigate model of Dow and a VLCC Energy Concentration model were calculated,the results were compared with the experimental values and other calculated results,a good agreement was found.
The experiment on the box model shows that the calculation results and experimental ones are in good agreement. Hence it is proved that SEA is an effective method for predicting the ship structure-borne noise.
