The results show that as the draw ratio increases to a ceratin extent, the crystallinity and degree of orientation of the fiber increase up to a plateau, the folded macromolecular chains are fully extended and aligned in the draw direction to form a fibrillar structure in which two crystalline exist, orthorhombic and hexagonal phase, and the fiber hence obtains exellent tensile properties. The effect of TMCP parameters on microstructure and property was studied,and a controversial question about bainite transformation mechanism also was discussed. The results show that it is viable that the replacement of drawing temper after rolling with TMCP to get bainite SBL microalloyed steel with good strength and ductility. Grainy bainite transformation in SBL steel is a kind of diffusion transformation.

The different heat treatment processes were done for the 16MnR steel. Based on fracture analysis of OM and SEM, the ductile-brittle transition temperature was defined by series of impact tests. The observation results indicate that the ductile-brittle transition temperature is closely correlativd with the microstructure change caused by heat treatment.
