STUDIES ON PVC/PAN BLEND UF MEMBRANE Ⅱ.THE EFFECT OF THE POLYMER-CONCENTRATION OF CASTING SOLUTION ON THE PERFORMANCE AND THE STRUCTURE OF PVC/PAN BLEND UF MEMBRANE
Results reveal that CA/EVA blend membrane can get higher methanol flux(JMeOH) than CA membrane. Moreover, JMeOH of CA/EVA blend membrane cast in DIO/DCE solvent mixture is higher than that cast in DIO/CYH solvent mixture, which is also due to the the different conformation of EVA in DCE and CYH.
The CA/PAN blend ultrafiltration membrane is studied. Some preparative methods for making a blend membrane with cut -off molecular weight 67 000 a found: ① Use (DMF+LiCl): DMAC=1.5:1.0 as blend solvent, with polymer concentration 16%.

The properties of high cyanoethylcellulose (HCEC) membrane and the blend membrane which is made from HCEC with CA or CTA are presented in this paper. HCEC is a kind of cellulose ether which has higher chemical stabitity than CA.The results of experiments show that the HCEC membrane has better resistance to microbial decomposition, acid and basicity hydrolysis.Blending CA or CTA with HCEC can improve CA or CTA membrane's property effictively.
