Second chapter in this text has introduced transportation needs analysis of the local railway construction project, and has explained the railway freight transport different requirements of market arising by source of goods place difference from product space, consumption space difference from production space, various area production capacity un-balance, and has pointed out the major factor of influencing railway freight transport requirement. The method of railway freight transport and passenger transport demand forecasting has been simple introduced.
