The self-excited vibration of boring rod and the quality of reqrinding of cntting-tool causing a substantial influence on boring accuracy and surface finish were also observed.

An ultraprecision boring machine is developed to solve problems of machining precision bores existing in airborne equipment manufacturing technology. Working conditions and meas- ures taken for ultraprecision boring are described. Finally experimental results of ultraprecision boring are given.
