Differential diagnosis of cervical nerve compression syndrome of the external intervertebral foramen
      
The aim of the present research is to study the mechanism of cervical nerve compression syndrome of the external intervertebral foramen and its differential diagnosis with cervical spondylosis.
      
Fifteen cases with cervical nerve compression syndrome of the external intervertebral foramen were healed by the diagnostic treatment.
      
Diagnostic treatment led to short-term alleviation of the symptom in 20 cases with cervical spondylosis confirmed by operation, the results of which was far from satisfactory and operation was undertaken finally in all the 20 cases.
      
Diagnostic treatment was propitious to differentiate cervical nerve compression syndrome of the external intervertebral foramen from cervical spondylosis.

In this paper, the stress and displacement fields of the cervical spine have been deter mined by use of method of photo-mechanics. The results are analyzed aud discussed accordihg to the theory of bimechauics. The experimental results are in good agreement nith that from theoretical analysis and medical statistics aud provide the basis of mechanics for researching the cervcal spine diseases.

A method of waveform recognition and spectrum analysis of human cervical spinal cord evoked potentials is presented. The parameters and spectrum of potentials were computed in 76 healthy subjects and 9 patients with syringomyelia. The normal values of parameters of human cervical spinal cord evoked potentials were determined.The results of power spectrum analysis suggest that there is significant difference between healthy subjects and patients with syringomyelia.

The cases included: Chordome in clivus(5 cases), tumors in cerebellar inferior vermis(2 cases), tumors in medullar oblongata(4 cases), spinal medullar neoplasia in upper cervical region(5 cases ). The patients were taken the plane MRI, using SE series, the T1W(TR 500/TE 30ms),T2W(TR 1800/TE 90ms) and proton density weighted (TR 1800/TE30ms) were obtained. 2 cases of them also did enhanced imaging...

The patients were taken the plane CT,6 cases of them also did enhanced CT scan. The study showed: 16 cases were found by MRI but CT was only 3 cases, MRI can suppoy more detailed imformation about the features of lesions and can help to determine the range and origin of lesions, The examinational technique for craniocervical junction with MRI are also discussed.

本文旨在评价MRI与CT对颅颈移行区病变的诊断价值,共16例分析,包括斜坡脊索瘤5例,小脑下蚓部肿瘤2例,延髓肿瘤4例,上颈段脊髓肿瘤5例。患者均作MRI平扫,采用SE系列,T1W(TR500/TE30ms)、T2W(TR1800/TE90ms)和质子密度像(TR1800/TE30ms),其中2例作了Gd-DTPA顺磁增强,所有病例均作了CT平扫,6例同时还作了增强CT扫描。通过本组病例分析:16例病变MRI均能发现,而CT仅发现3例,MRI能提供更细微的有关病变性质并对病变的来源及范围确定更有帮助,同时还讨论了该区MRI检查技术。
