In order to combat the Fusarium and Verticillium wilts of cotton,a lotof resistant cultivars have been developed successively by the Institute ofCotton Research,Shensi Province,they are Shen 4,Shen 65-141,Shen401,Shen 416,Shen 112,Shen 3563,Shen 1155,etc.The development of these cultivars indicates that the resistance to theabove mentioned diseases could be combined with good agronomic characte-ristics such as high yield and good quality of fibers.In order to accelerate theprocess for the development of disease resistant cultivars,it was consideredvery important to pay special attention to the following:1.There should be a clear-cut breeding objective.2.A disease nursery ensuring even and heavy infection should bemaintained.3.Special care should be taken in the selecton of parents and the makingof crosses.4.There should be a comparatively larger population to ensure theselection of the best types.5.The newly developed cultivars should be put into commercial use assoon as possible.

本试验选用抗病性较强的球茎大麦(2n=28)为父本,以普通小麦(2n=42)为母本,进行属间杂交,授粉24小时后,在母本柱头上滴赤霉酸,促使幼胚生长,以中国春单体5B 为母本杂交,获得了少量结实的杂交种子;以中国春为母本的,则结合离体培养杂种幼胚,以获得属间杂种。杂种自花不育,而以中国春单体5B 与之回交,获得三株回交一代杂种(B_1F_1)。杂种 F_1与 B_1F_1代的植株性状有明显的杂种优势; 二者穗部形态结构基本相似,均为穗形细长、有芒似父本,而小穗之多花性则似母本;F_1和 B_1F_1与其父本球茎大麦一样对赤霉病和白粉病等严重的小麦病害具有抗性。观察其染色体数,F_1在24~30之间,而B_1F_1染色体数在45~49之间(其中大多数终变期细胞有20~21个配对的二价体,3~7个单价体)。B_1F_1代自交与回交均有部分结实。预计经过继续自交和回交,可能在后代中获得抗病的小麦异附加系。

Combined infection of storaged seed potatoes Corynebacterium sepedonicum, Erwinia caratovara var. atroseptica, Phoma exigua var. foveata and Fusarium coeruleurn seriously effects the growing of potato and some dwarfism plants appear during its growing.

目前,马铃薯窖贮病害严重地威胁着种薯的生产。在贮藏期间各种病害所造成的种薯损失是相当严重的;例如,1981年我们在呼和浩特市榆林公社调查,发现窖贮病害所造成的种薯损失达34—55%。窖贮病害猖獗的原因是多种因素造成的。但是引进不耐贮藏的品种是贮藏病害严重发展的主要原因,其中窖贮病害最多,感染最严重的是克新号码的品种,虽然不少资料介绍克新1号和4号“高度抗环腐病,中度抗晚疫病,较耐贮”。然而,在呼和浩特郊区的情况下,特别是在榆林公社,种植克新一和四号比同薯8号,其窖贮的损失多21%。国内其它省也有这方面的报道。目前,许多国家把降低块茎贮藏时的损失作为马铃薯栽培的主要问题之一进行研究。我们调查及国外资料证实,在块茎中存在Phoma-Fusarium和细菌—真菌混合腐烂。在东德进行的研究表明,贮藏期后半段时间所有腐烂块茎的50—70%有干腐和湿腐的混合症状。他们也发现Erwinia caratovora var.atroseptica,Fusarium ssp.病原菌混合侵染不仅不能抑制彼此之间的发展;相反,在许多情况下刺激了它们的发展。块茎的窖贮腐烂是由许多因素决定的,而生长期的马铃薯感染也是重要原因之一。而生长...
