This study presented a method of producing standardized basilar view cephalograms(submental vertex cephalograms)and discussed its role in diagnosis and treatment planningfor orthognathic surgery.A cephalostat was modified by planning a vertically sliding orbitalindicator on the inside of the left ear-rod holdor.In this way,a better satisfactory superior-inferior view cephalograms were produced.In this article,cephalometric tracing and landm-arks of a basilarfilm were devised and a discussion of its midline construct was presented bystudy basilar cephalograms of 30 mormal subjects and 9 patients with craniofacial asymmet-ries.The basilar cephalogram could show much valuable information,the dental archs wereseen in raltionship to each other and to the surrounding bony structures,cranial base andmaxilla,mandible structures were clearly seen and traceable,Meanwhile,it may be combinedwith the conventional lateral and paosteroanterior views to provide a more informative threedimensional image and also may be manipulated to simulate the skeletal changes and anti-cipated effect in surgical treatment by papercut.

颜面对称性是记录颜面正常解剖形态和病理性畸形的重要标志之一。为了探讨中国正常(牙合)人颜面生理不对称的范围、规律及特点,本文运用莫尔条纹和计算机数字化处理技术对80名正常(牙合)青年人(40名男性,40名女性)颜面对称性进行了研究。结果表明,不显著的非对称性在正常人普遍存在,正常(牙合)人最大的不对称出现在颏部,男性为12.45%,女性为10.17%,其余部位均小于10%,最小不对称,女性出现在鼻尖,非对称率为6.20%,男性在上唇部,非对称率为7.67%。面下份颜面非对称率大于面上份,内侧大于外侧,男性大于女性。本研究数据可为临床颜面非对称性的诊断提供参考,同时,计算机图形数字化处理技术为莫尔条纹技术的临床应用提供了方便。

应用激光全息干涉计量术的二次曝光技术,对一具恒牙列早期女性尸体颅骨在模拟临床牵引上颌矫治的情况下加力300g向前牵引,测定上颌复合体受与(牙合)平面呈不同角度前牵引力时的微小三维位移场,为临床前牵引上颌提供生物力学依据。实验结果表明,上颌牙列受(牙合)平面方向及(牙合)平面上15°前牵引力时,上颌复合体逆时针转,上颌向前上移位,受(牙合)平面下15°前牵引力时,上颌复合体主要呈向前下的运动趋势,颌骨前份的上下之间发生挤压弯曲。牵引力方向不同,颅面骨的位移及旋转中心亦异。大小相同,方向不同的牵引力可以引起不同程度的颌面位移。
