Effects of endurance swim training on induction of testis metal-binding protein (TMBP) as well as the dynamic changes of TMBP, testosterone, and zinc contents in tests of the exhausted rats were observed. The results showed that TMBP could be induced to a high level by endurance swimming but no longer induced to a much higher level by exhausted swimming in the trained rats. This indicated that the effect of exhausted swimming to induce TMBP had decreased, and that the inducibility of TMBP had the character of adaptability to its stimulus factors. Exercise training could accelerate testosterone synthesis to return to normal and remain zinc contents unchanged in tests of trained rats after exhausted swimming, which might be relative to the high basal level of TMBP.

The experiments were carried out in mice to investigate the effects of Rhodiola sachalinensis(RS)and itscomplex prescriptions (RSCP)on exercise capacity and energy metabolism.The animals were divided intothree groups:()control group:mice accepted endurance swimming training only,(2)RS group:enduranceswimming training with the medication of RS,and(3)RSCP group:endurance swimming training with RSCP.The general health condition of the animal during the experimental period,the endurance swimming duration,the histochemical reation of PAS,and enzymatic activities of LDH and SDH in the liver and muscle were ob-served.In comparing with the control mice,a stronger reaction of PAS with increase in the activity of LDH andSDH were found in the muscle of the mice treated with RS or RSCP,which suggested an adequate energy sup-ply to the muscle ,and acceleration of the process of glycolysis as well as aerobic oxidation in the muscle.RS orRSCP also found to be effective in improving the general health condition of the mice and strenthening theswimming endurance as manifested by the prolongation of the swimming time.The effect of RSCP seems to bebetter than RS.From the findings of our experiments it comes to conclusion that RS and RSCP are of effective-ness in elimination of fatigue and strengthening the capacity of endurance exercise training with a great futurefor applying in sport medicine.

为探讨红景天及其复方对运动能力和能量代谢的影响,采用小鼠游泳训练模型,观察体重等一般健康状况、游泳耐力、肝脏及肌肉中PAS、SDH、LDH的组织化学反应。结果表明:红景天及其复方能改善训练小鼠整体状况,提高游泳耐力,增强SDH、LDH活性,促进运动小鼠肝糖元和肌糖元的分解利用和肝糖元的异生。复方红景天采用益气健脾养阴为主的原则组方,其调节整体机能,促进能量代谢,提高运动能力方面的作用有超过单味红景天的趋势。
