In order to solve the problems of high embrittlement and poor corrosion-resistance, etc. present in non-cyanide zinc plating process, many researches have been made. It is expected to begin with improving the aqueous-solubility of benzal acetone, but unfortunately, no obvious improvement is made on the deposit embrittlement, whether it is sulphonated or hydroxyl, sulphonyl and other hydrophilic groups are introduced into it. Another way is to find out more suitable brightener carrier. Through tests, two tuch carriers, PM and PMS, are finally found, the corresponding compositions and sechnological conditions are also determined. For rack plating, the conditions are: ZnCl_2 35-50g/L, KC1 l60-180g/L, H_3BO_3 30-40g/L, PM-Ⅰ 15-20mL/L, PM-Ⅱ 120-150mL/L, pH 5.0-6.2, temperature 5-65℃, Dk 0.5-2.5A/cm~2, cathode movement 11-12 times/min, area ratio of cathode and anode 1:1.5-2.0. For barrel plating, the conditions are: ZnCl_2 50-90g/L, KC1 160-210g/L, H_3BO_3 30-40g/L, PM-Ⅰ 15-20mL/L, PM-Ⅱ 120-150mL/L, pH 5.0-6.2, temperature 5-65℃, Dk 70-200A/barrel. Besides, the electrochemical properties of the bath are tested and the physicochemical properties of the deposit are determined. it is concluded that this is a fine zinc plating process characterized by wide-temperaturerange, low-stress and good corrosion resistance as well as good throwing and covering powers.(p. 5)

为了解决无氰镀锌工艺存在的脆性大、耐蚀性能差的问题,进行了很多试验。曾希望从解决苄叉丙酮的水溶性问题着手,但不论是将它磺化还是引入羟基、磺基等亲水性基团,对镀层脆性的改善均无明显的效果。另外是寻找合适的载体光亮剂,通过试验终于找到了PM和PMS两种载体光亮剂,并确定了相应的配方和工艺条件:吊镀,ZnCl_235~50g/L,KCl160~180g/L,H_3BO_330~40g/L,PM-Ⅰ15~20 ml/L,PM-Ⅱ120~150ml/KAH,pH5.0~6.2,温度,5~65℃D_K=0.5~2.5A/dm~2,阴极移动11~12次/分,阴阳极面积比1:1.5~2.0;滚镀,ZnCl_250~90g/L,KCl160~210g/L,H_3BO_330~40g/L,PM-Ⅰ15~20ml/L,PM-Ⅱ120~150ml/L,pH5.0~6.2,温度5~65℃,D_K70~200安培/桶。还进行了镀液的电化学性能测试和镀层的物理化学性能测定。最后得出结论,这是一种温度宽,应力低、耐蚀性能好而且均镀能力和复盖能力均佳的优良的镀锌工艺。
