A new method was suggested for determining the fibre amount as a function of length in the sample barrel prepared for cotton length tester. It is found that the intensity of optical reflectance reprensents a linear correlation with fibre amount when the barrel was within an appropriate range and evenly distributed. The transducer was designed and the test procedure was described. The optical circuit and intensity of reflectance was compared and the result was discussed.

By use of the quadratic regressive orthogonal design method; the order of importance of parameters which affect the squeezing performance and the interaction between the parameters have been reached. Optimal parameter combinations have been obtained. The size of squeezing barrel, the optimal initial layer thickness of material in squeezing barrel and the regularity of squeezing process have been analysed theoretically, and the mathematical model of squeezing juice has been found. Their results were verified by the tests with carrot and celery.

应用经过处理的天然物质——槲栎,对白酒进行人工催熟,并运用理化指标检验.气相色谱分析以及传统的感官品尝等方法进行对照鉴评.结果表明:经过短期处理的新酒,在组分含量以及色、香、味、格方面均与自然老熟三年的成品西凤酒相近,从而大大地缩短了白酒的贮存时间.
