It is posed that angular air-hammer self-excited vibration and half frequency wobble self-excited vibration are two reasons for resulting angular wobble self-excited vibration for gas film face seals. In the stability analysis of this vibration, the influence of different face configurations, stiffness of the springs supporting the floated ring and damping of the secondary seal are presented. On the basis of small perturbation linearized distributed parameter method, the perturbed Reynolds equations...

It is posed that angular air-hammer self-excited vibration and half frequency wobble self-excited vibration are two reasons for resulting angular wobble self-excited vibration for gas film face seals. In the stability analysis of this vibration, the influence of different face configurations, stiffness of the springs supporting the floated ring and damping of the secondary seal are presented. On the basis of small perturbation linearized distributed parameter method, the perturbed Reynolds equations of gas film and perturbed motion equations are simultaneously solved and the limits of stability are obtained by a numerical iteration. The adaptable finite element method is used for calculating the dynamic coefficients of gas film for three degrees of freedom perturbed motions.

提出造成气膜端面密封角向摆动自振的内在机理,既有半频摆动自振又有角向气锤自振。在其稳定性分析中给出了不同端面结构、浮环支撑弹簧和二次密封阻尼等的影响。分析按照小扰动线性化的分布参数法,联立气膜微扰雷诺方程和浮环微扰运动方程,对密封系统的角向摆动自振稳定性界限进行了数值迭代。
