In this article, the wheel tractor is treated as a vibration system with two degrees of freedom. Using the solution of the differential equations of such a system, the characteristics of the free vibrations of tractor is analysed. The two partial frequencies ("constrained frequencies" )are suggested to be the fundamental critenia for wheel tractor riding quality. In this article, the wheel tractor is treated as a vibration system with two degrees of freedom. Using the solution of the differential equations of such a system, the characteristics of the free vibrations of tractor is analysed. The two partial frequencies ("constrained frequencies" )are suggested to be the fundamental critenia for wheel tractor riding quality. Some testing result of partial frequency are given, and a method of calculating forced vibrations in two typical cases is introduced, i e., when tractor runs over a single obstacle and over continuous obstacles. The result of such calculation is compared with those obtained during experiments on turning disk testing stand. With the aid of this method of calculation, the influence of factors such as distribution of masses, tyre inflation pressure, front suspension and seat cushion on the vibration characteristics of both tractor and operator is discussed. Means of improving riding quality are also suggested.

本文首先把轮式拖拉机简化为两个自由度的振动系统,然后运用该系统振动微分方程的解,分析了机体自由振动的特点,提出把偏频作为评定轮式拖拉机平顺性的一个基本数据,并列举了偏频试验的结果。 文中在分析机体强迫振动时,建立了通过连续和单个不平度两种典型情况的计算方法,并与在转盘试验台上进行相应试验的结果加以比较验证,然后用该计算方法来讨论拖拉机机体质量分布、轮胎气压、前轴悬架、座椅等决定机体和拖拉机手振动的主要结构参数对振动的影响规律,提出改善轮式拖拉机平顺性的途径。

In addition to the auto-spectrum density of every input point and cross-spectrum density between the front and rear wheels, the cross-spectrum density between the right and left wheels are also considered in calculation based on the relevent road-spect rumdata. In the study of comfortability of the seat, some rules for the seat vibration magnitude which changes with parameter-transformation have been obtained. These may be used in the future designing as reference. The calculated result are approximately equal as compared with the experimental values.The experiments were carried out on the auto testing runway at Hot-Humidity Experimental Station of Hainan.

本工作是把牵引单轴拖车的拖拉机或汽车简化为多自由度的弹簧-质量-阻尼的振动系统,通过求解频率响应函数计算包括座椅在内的各输出点的功率谱密度和加速度均方值,从而通过参数改变予示振动量的变化。在计算中除考虑了多点输入的自谱及前后轮之间的互谱外,还根据有关路面资料考虑了左右轮之间的互谱。结合乘坐舒适性研究,绘出了座椅振动量随各参数变化的一些规律,可为今后设计工作参考。计算值经与实际测量值验证基本相符。

This paper starts from discussion of the social and political effects on truck design. Then the author reviews the future of truck design in technical as pects, stressing fuel economy. To improve fuel economy, the heat conversion efficiency of diesel engines must be first improved. The specific fuel consumption of current U. S. diesel engines is about 167 g per hp hr, the best is only 150 g. per hp. hr. The author predicts that 145 g per hp hr can be attained, if some new techniques now under development can...

This paper starts from discussion of the social and political effects on truck design. Then the author reviews the future of truck design in technical as pects, stressing fuel economy. To improve fuel economy, the heat conversion efficiency of diesel engines must be first improved. The specific fuel consumption of current U. S. diesel engines is about 167 g per hp hr, the best is only 150 g. per hp. hr. The author predicts that 145 g per hp hr can be attained, if some new techniques now under development can be perfected and used in time during the next decade. Near term benefits can be obtained through research in lubricant to reduce frictional losses, and reducing accessories' power requirements, and supercharging intercooling, etc.Using radial tires, especially low profile wide singles, instead of conventional dual tires for the rear wheels will reduce truck rolling resistance and improve fuel economy 10-20%.Using cab top deflectors and improving the configuration of tractor's cab will reduce drag resistance 35% and improve fuel economy 15-17%。 So, in the next decade, with engine improvement of 100%, total fuel economy improvement of 47% can be obtained. Tractor-Semi-trailer combination with GCW of 36.3 T cruising on level road at 88 km/hr speed will have fuel consumption rate of 29.5 L/100 kmFor improvement in fuel economy, the regulations governing the GCWand length of truck trains must be and will be enlarged. The tare weight of trailers will also be reduced proportionally.

本文先从社会因素对货车设计的影响谈起。再讨论技术和结构方面的动向。作者认为今后货车的发展以节省燃油为主,方法是: 提高柴油机的热效率。目前美国柴油机每马力小时耗油量约为163克,最好的为150克。预期十年内随着现在处于发展阶段的技术完善之后,可望为145克。近期收益将从润滑油等的改进减少摩擦损失和附件驱动损火等和增压中冷中得到。 用子午线轮胎特别是后轮用宽断面单胎代替双胎可减少滚动阻力,节油10~20%。 用驾驶室顶部导流罩,改进驾驶室的外形等,可减少风阻35%,节油15~17%。 所以十年后如发动机节油10%,共可节油达47%。总重36.3吨的汽车列车在水平公路上以88公里/小时车速行驶时,耗油率将为29.5升/百公里。 为提高燃油经济性,提高汽车列车组合总重和列车长度是可能的和必要的。
