When sowing small grain seeds, the sowing rate can be controlled at 7.5kg/ha or less with better uniformity and lower percentage of breakage, showing its unique superiorities.This article deals with a primary analysis and approach about the kinematic calculations, working principles, dropping characteristics, and the choice of parameters of the oscillating rod type seed-metering device on the basis of a great deal of experimental data.
