The thermoelectric power of (La1-xCax )CrO3 (x=0-0.50), and the electrical conductivity and other parameters of this material sintered at different atmospheres were measured. The (La1-xCax )CrO3 produced at oxidizing atmosphere appears as extrinsic conduction characterstics; the concentration of charge carriers depends on the deviation state from stoichiometry. The thermoelectric power of (La1-xCax )CrO3 (x=0-0.50), and the electrical conductivity and other parameters of this material sintered at different atmospheres were measured. Based on the analysis and calculation, the conductivity mechanism of this kind of material was discussed. The (La1-xCax )CrO3 produced at oxidizing atmosphere appears as extrinsic conduction characterstics; the concentration of charge carriers depends on the deviation state from stoichiometry. The stoi-chiometric (La1-xCax) CrO3-x/2 appears as intrinsic conduction characteristics; the charge carriers are produced by the intrinsic activated process of 2Cr3+ Cr4+ Cr2+ and its activation energy is about 0.71 eV. In the (La1-xCax )CrO3 material, the transport property of the charge carriers is related to the amount of calcium ions doped. When X≤0.25, it seems to be the hopping transport of small polarons. When x=0.50, it may be due to the complex transport of small polarons and quasi-free electrons.

There are arelysis and a test about the relationship between the wear and the thermo-electric patential of YW1 carbide inserts in this paper. Especially, it bas discussed the influence rules and the influence extent of the thermoelectric patential the wear. It bas been proven that it is Succeed to forecast tbe life of carbide inserts through evaluating the thermo-electric potential of carbide inserts.

本文分析和讨论了硬质合金刀片其热电势与磨损的关系.着重研究了YW1硬质合金热电势对刀片后刀面磨损的影响规律和影响程度.并提出了热电势对刀片寿命的影响,从而证明了采用测量硬质合金刀片的热电势来预测硬质合金刀片寿命的可行性.
