The absorption band of water vapor at 0.94 μ is studied photographically by means of a concave grating spectrometer. Twenty eight component lines are observed and measured on a comparator as well as on a Moll microphotometer. This band shows something of a doublet form which suggests that the H2O molecule has a triangular form with the oxygen atom at the vertex of an obtuse angle. The lines agree closely with some of the absorption lines in the solar spectrum as measured by Abney in 1880.

前之研究红外光谱者类多依赖热电堆以测定光谱内光能之分布。吾人咸知红外带状光谱之接近可见部分者,其成分线排列甚密。若用热电堆万难分析而得其细微组织。作者所考察之光谱正在红外照相片感光范围之内,故得测定水汽带状光谱内各成分线之波长而具有1内之准确度。 作者所用分光仪器为一凹面光栅,其曲度半径为2公尺。该光栅面上每厘米划有线6000根,颇适合红外光谱之探讨。所用光源为一1000流明之电灯泡泡内有一一字形线圈灯丝,其所发之光穿过2公尺之105°—110℃水汽而交聚在分光仪之缝上。红外照相片经氨溶液之超度敏化后,即安置於已经配准之相片匣内,而使之感光。光之可见部分系用深红滤片割除。照光时间约 费四五十小时,然后除去滤片,照以水银光谱凡数秒,作为决定波长之标准。 用前法所摄得之光谱大都不十分清晰,其主要原因系由水汽管之太短。但用显微光度计量之,各成分线之波长不难准至1(?)范围以内。本实验所得各线若与五十年前Abney所测定太阳光谱中0.94μ附近之吸收线相比较,可见太阳红外光谱中许多吸收线系由大气中水汽所产生,而证实Abney最初之推想。惟本实验所测定之吸收线与Abney所测定太阳光谱中之对应黑线具有一等差数约合1.5...

This is a brief report of the measurements by the method of critical penetration frequency of the maximum intensities of ionization in the ionospheric layers during the partial solar eclipse of June 19, 1936 at Shanghai. The results support the ultra-violet light theory of ionization in the F1 layer. For the E layer these results suggest that a considerable part of the ionization may be due to agents different from ultraviolet light.

本文报告公历一九三六年六月十九日在上海日偏蚀时用临界频率法测量天空电离层游离强度之变化就F_1层所显之结果而论,足为紫外线作用论强有力之一证惟按E层所显之结果则显出该层游离化之主因颇有一部分非紫外线之作用。

In chronical experiments on dogs provided with gastric pouches, we showed that the gastric secretion stimulated by histamine can be reflexly inhibited by electrical stimulation on the skin. This inhibition can be shown with Heidenhain pouches as well as with Pavlov pouches, indicating that the phenomenon does not depend on an intact vagus innervation. Furthermore it can still appear in Heidenhain pouches after bilateral subdiaphragmatic section of the splanchnic nerves and bilateral extirpation of the solar...

Furthermore it can still appear in Heidenhain pouches after bilateral subdiaphragmatic section of the splanchnic nerves and bilateral extirpation of the solar plexuses. In such dogs the adrenal glands are of course also severed from their external nerve supplies. It thus follows that the sympathetic innervation to the stomach and the adrenal glands are not indispensable either. Apparently there is some humoral factor as yet unknown, which inhibits gastric secretion and which can be reflexly mobilized by such means as electrical stimulation of the skin. On the other hand, we were able to show that both direct electrical stimulation of the splanchnic nerve and intravenous injection of adrenaline can inhibit the gastric secretion stimulated by histamine. This suggests that when the sympathetico-adrenal system is intact it is likely to be also involved in the inhibitory phenomenon under consideration. The phenomenon is evidently a complex one involving both nervous and humoral factors, and we had also shown that it requires the participation of higher nervous centres, being not elicitable in anesthetized animals. We wish to express our deep gratitude to Prof. T. P. Feng for suggesting this problem and for constant guidance throughout this work.

(一)在慢性實驗中用備有小胃的狗,我們证明組織胺引起的胃分泌能反射地为皮膚電刺激及一些其他外界刺激所抑制。 (二)這抑制現象在除去胃的迷走神經支配相交或神經支配,並隔離腎上腺的神經聯系時,仍能出現。它似有某種可以反射地形成的抑制性體液變化為基礎。 (三)但在急性實驗中我們又證明大內臟神經和注射腎上腺素均能抑制組織胺引起的胃分泌,這指示在正常動物胃分泌的反射抑制仍可能通過交感神經-腎上腺系統而得實現。 (四)本文所述的胃分泌的反射抑制現象顯然包含複雜的神經-體液機制,並且是在高級神經中樞參加下產生的。
